The wall thermo-acoustic insulation will be obtained with “Termobond TD __ __”.panels. Panels will be applied on the internal surface of the masonry realized in ________, by previous elimination of possible mortar thickness, by means of gluing with acrylic glue as MAPEI Adesilex vs45.
Termoboard panels are made up with polyester thermo bonded fibres and will have thickness and density fixed according to calculations performed up to the L 10/91. The thermo-acoustic performances shall be proved by suitable certificates.
AIRSPACE IN DOUBLE WALL
The masonry at double wall with airspace is one of the constructional solutions more used in building field, especially in order to obtain efficacious thermo-acoustic insulation.
Really, applying a thermo-acoustic insulating material in the airspace between the two masonry it is possible to realize the desired insulation degree choosing an appropriate mix of insulating density and thickness. In general, in double wall with thermo-acoustic insulation it is not necessary an air airspace but, if provided, it is advisable to place it in the external part of the insulation material, in such a way to allow a better wall sweating (really, in this way it is possible to obtain a resistance at the stream passage that decreases from the internal towards the external)
Furthermore, in order to have a major thermal inertia, it is preferable to realize the double wall in such a way to have a major mass in the internal part. At last, do not forget that is necessary to correct the thermal bridges caused by pillars and beams (according to what stated in the law/up to the law 10/91) in such a way to guarantee the insulation continuity.
The dry lining is a solution frequently used in external wall renovation works, or anyway when it is necessary to act on already existing walls. So it is frequently used for the redevelopment or the restoration of old buildings or houses and for the acoustic insulation improvement in houses.
The dry lining work of an existing wall is performed applying a system made up of a thermo-acoustic insulation panel, by means of gluing on the wall or fixing on a metal structure, where in a second time a plasterboard/wallboard plate will be applied.
The mix between panel and plates allows to dose the characteristics of the two components, in order to obtain a total performance that satisfy the acoustic and thermal insulation all together.
INTERNAL PARTITION WALL
Internal partition wall divide close houses or local of the same flat. In these cases, further than an efficacious thermal insulation it is necessary to guarantee a good acoustic insulation, in order to preserve the various local house comfort. Partition walls can be of “double wall” type, with light brick walling or, as even more frequently happens, common plasterboard/wallboard partitioning. So, it is necessary to choose the insulating to place in the airspace between the walling or the metallic structural between the wallboard plates, in order to obtain the desired mix of thermal and acoustic insulation performances.
The mix between panel and plate allows to dose the characteristics of the two components in order to obtain a total performance that satisfy the acoustic and thermal insulation all together.
In order to contain civil and industrial locals thermal dispersion, or to improve the acoustic insulation, it is possible to choose to limit the local disposition of volumes using false ceiling that can also be used to renew the beauty of old building and to solve masking problems.
False ceilings are made up of panels realized using various types of materials and are always supported by a metal structure anchored to the existing ceiling. They have acoustic absorption characteristics and allow energy saving thanks to their endowment of thermal insulation.
